1. What are some common reasons people study English? What is your reason?

 

First of all, everyone studies English to have a better life. They can get a better job or improve their ability at their work so they can have a big plus at their career. If they need to speak English at work or in their daily life, improving English skills helps them a lot. You can have more income, better results at work and fulfil some goals you wanted to achieve. For myself, since I have been living in Australia, Improving my English is necessary. Better English definitely will bring me a better life.

 

2. Do you enjoy learning new things? Why or why not? Which topics interest you most?

 

I do enjoy learning new things because it excites me and brings me strong energy in my daily life. One of my big milestones in Australia is I became able to drive a manual car and earned the C class license here. The topics I am interested in most would be beauty and music. I am really into some activities which give me pleasure visually and audibly.

 

3. When do you feel discouraged while studying English? How do you motivate yourself?

I feel discouraged when I think I am going nowhere, things are too slow and not improving as much as I want. I would be getting down on myself and frustrated if things I wanted were not really going well. The solution for this situation to motivate myself is getting positive energy from other successful people through watching some motivating videos on Youtube. I always try to learn their good attitude, experience and life skills to be more successful in my life.
