My favorite book is The Millionaire Fastlane for its practical advice, but Crying in H Mart has also become a favorite this year for its emotional impact.

What is your favorite book?

 

My favorite book for quite some time has been The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco.

This book has a special place in my heart because it changed how I think about wealth and success.

It’s not just about making money quickly but about shifting your mindset toward financial freedom in a smarter way.

Every time I read it, I feel inspired and motivated to take control of my future.

It’s a book I can always come back to when I need a reminder to stay focused and driven toward my goals.

 

Recently, however, I read a completely different type of book called Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner, and it had a strong impact on me.

It’s a memoir about the author’s experience with grief, identity, and the deep connection between food and family.

As someone who enjoys emotionally resonant stories, I found myself deeply moved by this book.

In fact, I cried a lot while reading it.

The way the author expressed her pain and her journey through loss was so raw and powerful that it stayed with me long after I finished the last page.

 

I don’t usually gravitate toward novels or memoirs since I tend to read more self-development or business books.

But Crying in H Mart is an exception.

The emotional depth and cultural themes made it stand out in a way few books have for me lately.

Even though I don’t typically reread novels, I can see myself coming back to this one because of the impact it had on me.

 

So, while The Millionaire Fastlane has been my go-to favorite for years, Crying in H Mart has definitely become my favorite for this year.

It’s interesting how different books can become favorites for different reasons.

One for its practicality, and the other for its emotional depth.

Each offers something valuable, and I appreciate how they both play different roles in my life.
