1. Do you enjoy hiking and mountain climbing? Why or why not?

 

I do love mountain climbing. It’s really good for your health and refreshes your mind and body. I really love the air and vibe there. Climbing mountains will help you breathe some fresh air, and being away from the city is also best for sometime in order to relax the lungs.

 

2. Describe some things to do, see, and eat on Jeju Island.

 

Nowadays, no one feels easy to travel around and it’s a must to check in with a QR code even when you go to a restaurant. Before COVID-19, you could hop on a plane whenever you wanted, but it is not really easy to travel anymore. I hope to visit Jeju Island again one day. Since the TV show Hyori's Homestay was a huge hit all over the world through Netflix, Jeju Island became one of the popular bucket list destinations. My partner also loved that show and he is looking forward to visiting Jeju island together one day.

Seongsan Ilchulbong is a really popular place to visit in Jeju Island. Also, lots of trails are good to visit as a day trip, especially Saryeoni forest path. You should try Heuk Dwaeji (Jeju Black Pork), Seafood Ramen and Gogi Guksu (Pork Noodles) too.

 

3. Describe a memorable day trip you took. What did you do, and how did you feel?

 

I visited Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary with my partner on Valentine's Day this year. It was a memorable day trip and We had good fun. Lone Pine is a really popular tourist attraction and quite easy to visit if you live in Brisbane since it is just one hour drive. It is also a great place to visit with your family and kids. We had a nice brunch on the way there first, looked around at the animals, had a cuddle with Koala, fed kangaroos and took some pictures with them. We had a great day there.
