1. Why do you think weekend gardening has become so popular?
People say gardening brings them great happiness to taste the fruits of their labor. I guess weekend gardening has become so popular since it is good for your health and also it is a good activity to do with your family while more and more people are concerned about their health.
2. Explain why gardening is educational for kids. What can they learn from it?
Gardening is educational for kids and adults both. You can expect comprehensive effects from gardening since it stimulates and awakens all five senses. It is good for your health, having a fragrance treatment effect by smelling flowers and plants and it has exercise effects too. You can also feel achievement and confidence through the process.
3. What are some common plants or crops that people raise in gardens?
Recently, raising green onions in gardens has become a hot new fad in Korea. People say harvesting the fruits and vegetables brings great happiness too. It is very common to see people growing lettuce, green onions, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and chili peppers.
