STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS

 

1. Talk about an unusual pet that you have seen. What made it so unusual?

 

Raising pet snakes, reptiles, or toxic animals is rare and surprising to me. I have seen them as pets only on TV and never seen those unusual pets in person. The reason why they are unusual is that it is just hard to see them in the wild. These animals might be very difficult to maintain and they can be risky to live with.

I have seen pet parrots only a few times, people say raising parrots comes with a lot of perks. Unlike dogs or cats, parrots don’t shed fur, so they won’t trigger your allergies. Parrots don’t need to get shots too.

 

2. Why do so many people abandon their pets? How can it be prevented?

 

I guess many people abandon their pets for many different reasons though, it could mainly happen with high maintenance, irresponsible decisions and impulsive adoption.

It would be prevented with Individual's careful adoption and a more strict new system for the adoption process.

 

3. What animal would you most like to have as a pet? Why does it appeal to you?

 

I would like to have cats and dogs as pets. They are gorgeous and so adorable. They give people a lot of healing and make great pets, but I don't want to have them until my kids are old enough.
