What was your biggest social mistake?

I’ve made mistakes, but I try not to dwell on them and focus on growing into a better person each day.

실수를 한 적은 있지만, 거기에 머무르지 않고 매일 더 나은 사람이 되기 위해 노력하고 있습니다.

What was your biggest social mistake?

 

I’m sure I’ve made hundreds of social mistakes throughout my life.

After all, no one is perfect, and we all go through moments when we say the wrong thing, misread a situation, or unintentionally hurt someone’s feelings.

That’s just part of learning how to connect with others and grow as a person.

But to be honest, at this moment, I can’t think of one specific mistake that stands out above all the rest.

Maybe it’s because I’ve let go of many of those memories, or maybe it’s because I’ve learned to stop holding on to things that I can’t change.

Sometimes, if there’s nothing more you can do about the past, and the situation is already long gone, the best thing you can do for your own mental health is to simply accept it, forgive yourself, and move on.

 

Holding on to regret or shame forever doesn’t help anyone.

It only keeps you stuck in the past.

Of course, there are probably one or two moments I could call my biggest social mistake if I really tried to remember.

But honestly, I don’t want to bring them back to my mind.

They might make me feel embarrassed, sad, or even disappointed in myself.

 

So instead, I choose to focus on the positive things I’ve learned and the ways I’ve grown from those mistakes.

Every mistake taught me something, even if it felt terrible at the time.

And maybe that’s what matters more than remembering the exact details.

What’s important is that I try to become a better person every day.
