What gift have you wanted to receive the most?

I wanted a Tamagotchi and Japanese dolls as a child, and the memory of wanting them still feels special.

어렸을 때 다마고치와 일본 인형을 갖고 싶었는데, 갖고 싶었던 기억이 여전히 특별하게 느껴집니다.

What gift have you wanted to receive the most?

 

When I think about this question, it takes me back to my childhood.

One of my strongest memories is how badly I wanted a Tamagotchi and some specific Japanese dolls.

They were quite expensive at the time, and I remember feeling so excited whenever I saw them.

The Tamagotchi seemed so fun with its little virtual pet, and the dolls felt so unique and special.

 

I wanted them so much that the feeling has stayed with me even now.

It wasn’t just about owning them, it was the excitement and happiness I imagined they’d bring.

Thinking about it now gives me a mix of emotions, nostalgia for that simple, pure desire and a little amusement at how much it meant to me back then.

 

Since then, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted anything that intensely.

As I’ve grown older, my priorities and the things I value have changed.

While I still look forward to gifts or special moments, nothing quite matches the excitement I felt as a kid.

Those memories remind me of how magical childhood can be, where even the smallest things feel so important.

 

In the end, it’s not just the gift itself I remember.

It’s the joy and hope it brought me at the time.

Even though I never got those exact gifts, the memory of wanting them has become something I cherish.
