Q246. What is your oldest clothing item in your closet?

옷장 안에 있는 옷 중 가장 오래된 것은 무엇인가요?

I still wear some sweaters that I have had since university. This weekend, I am going to go through my closet and throw away all my old clothes.

 

My answer to this question.

The blouse that I received as a gift from one of my best friends is my oldest clothing item in my closet.

I think the blouse has been with me for more than 10 years.

The blouse color is between dark beige and light orange brown and the texture is slightly silky but the surface is not glossy silky.

I don't know how to explain this texture since I don't know the first thing about textile things but the texture is good for a pretty formal look and also comfortable.

The design and look of the blouse is also great and it really suits me still.

My friend used to work for a small fashion designer brand which had just launched back then and she got me some of their nice clothes as surprise gifts.

The blouse was one of them and I loved the blouse so much, so I had to keep that blouse in my closet everywhere I go and I still keep it even though I am staying abroad.

 

Today’s gratitude diary.

I appreciate that I just had a really good rest.

I feel so much better after it and refreshed.

I am learning many things and working super hard so it's a tough time and physically and mentally demanding though, I am also excited and happy with the time.

나는 대학생 때부터 있던 스웨터 몇 개를 아직도 입는다. 이번 주말에는 옷장을 정리하면서 오래된 옷을 모두 버릴 예정이다.

 

이 질문에 대한 나의 대답.

가장 친한 친구 중 한 명으로부터 선물로 받은 블라우스가 내 옷장에 있는 옷 중에 가장 오래된 옷이다.

그 블라우스를 입은지는 10년 이상 된 것 같다.

블라우스 색상은 어두운 베이지와 밝은 오렌지 브라운의 중간 정도 색상이고 질감은 약간 실크 같지만 표면은 광택이 나지 않는다.

내가 직물에 대해 문외한이기 때문에 이 옷감을 어떻게 설명해야 할지 모르겠지만 질감이 포멀한 룩에도 좋고 입을 때도 편하다.

블라우스의 디자인과 외형도 멋지고 지금도 나에게 정말 잘 어울린다.

내 친구는 그 당시에 막 출시된 작은 패션 디자이너 브랜드에서 일했었는데 그녀는 나에게 깜짝 선물로 멋진 옷 몇 벌을 사주었다.

그 블라우스도 그 중 하나였고 그 블라우스가 정말 마음에 들어서 어디를 가든 나의 옷장에는 그 블라우스가 있었고 해외에 있는 지금도 여전히 보관하고 있다.

 

오늘의 감사일기.

방금까지 정말 좋은 휴식을 가진 것에 감사하다.

그러고 나니 컨디션도 훨씬 좋아졌고 상쾌하다.

나는 많은 것을 배우고 있고 정말 정말 열심히 일하고 있기 때문에 꽤나 힘든 시간이고 육체적으로나 정신적으로나 힘들긴 하지만, 또한 그 시간이 즐겁고 행복하다.
