I accidentally listened to a speech given by Steve Jobs at the graduation ceremony of Stanford University, and I was quite impressed. It is no wonder people call him a genius.

 

My answer to this question.

Yes, I was really impressed by some people recently.

They are my bosses in new workplaces and actually, they are all younger than me.

They have been working in the industry for more than ten to fifteen years and it would be very impressive to anyone if anyone has even a little experience in learning those skills before.

I think they're definitely masters of the skills and also artists who are kind of up to the mark.

Some of the things I am very proud of in my home country, South Korea, are Koreans having persistence, dedication, a delicate sense of beauty, and high awareness of clients' needs.

I believe Koreans are so smart and affect all over the world with great skills in specific industries.

Since I am trying to learn all I can do for my job, those times were really helpful.

Anyone pursuing their dreams and improvements on it is beautiful, when they are thoroughly skilled with their job, they become like artists.

I am excited about what I can learn from them.

 

Today’s gratitude diary.

I appreciate that all my new plans are safely settling down so far.

I was able to buy myself some tools that I need, from the hair supply shop yesterday and I am very content with them.

Getting into changes is a bit risky and no one can guarantee the results but it's always worth trying.

I am grateful for the great results and feel safe with my current status.

그렇다, 나는 최근에 몇몇 사람들에게 정말 깊은 감명을 받았다.

그들은 새로운 직장에서 나의 보스들이고, 실은 모두 나보다 어리다.

그들은 그 산업에서 10년에서 15년 이상 일해왔으며 만약 누구라도 그 기술들을 배우는 데에 있어서 약간의 경험이라도 있다면 그것을 보고 매우 감명받을 것이다.

나는 그 사람들이 확실히 일종의 달인의 경지에 오른 기술자이자 예술가라고 생각한다.

나의 고국 한국에서 내가 매우 자랑스러워하는 것 중 몇 가지는 한국인들이 가진 끈기, 헌신, 섬세한 미적 감각, 그리고 고객들의 요구에 대한 높은 인지력이다.

나는 한국인들이 특정 산업에서 훌륭한 기술을 가지고 전 세계에 영향을 미치고 있고 상당히 똑똑하다고 생각한다.

나는 나의 일을 위해서 할 수 있는 모든 것을 배우려고 노력중이기 때문에, 그 시간들은 정말 도움이 되었다.

자신의 꿈과 그에 대한 발전을 추구하는 사람은 모두 아름답다. 그들이 직업에 완전히 숙달되면, 그들은 예술가처럼 보인다.

나는 그들에게서 새롭게 더 배울 수 있는 것들에 설렌다.

 

오늘의 감사일기.

지금까지 나의 모든 새로운 계획들이 무사히 잘 정착되고 있는 것에 감사한다.

어제 미용 재료상에서 필요한 도구를 살 수 있었는데 아주 만족스럽다.

변화를 만드는 것은 가끔은 조금 위험하고 아무도 결과를 장담할 수 없지만 항상 시도해 볼 가치가 있다.

좋은 결과를 만들 수 있었던 것에 감사하고, 현재 나의 상태에 안심이 된다.
