1. Do you use social audio platforms? If so, what do you use them for?

 

Sometimes I use social audio platforms. At the beginning I installed Clubhouse through my friend’s recommendation. I was usually listening to some celebrities gathering and native English speakers sharing inspiration with various topics. Nowadays, I don't really put it on my phone, but I would use the app sometime for gathering or English study.

 

2. What are some relatively new ways people can gather useful information?

 

I think some relatively new ways people can gather useful information could be messenger apps. They are evolving in various ways and becoming social media platforms unlike they were just messenger apps, now they offer some posting services and additional functions together.

 

3. Brainstorm an idea for a new social media app. How would it be different from others?

 

I expect that a new social media app will be like MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) one day since Metaverse services are on trend nowadays. It could definitely be different with other platforms, since you can have your own avatar there and communicate with people using chat, posting service, voice chat and all of the services in the platform altogether.

가끔 소셜 오디오 플랫폼을 사용한다. 친구의 추천으로 처음 클럽하우스를 설치했다. 보통은 연예인들 모임이나, 원어민들이 다양한 주제를 가지고 영감을 나누는 것을 들었다. 요즘은 잘 안 듣지만, 가끔 영어 공부나 모임을 위해 앱을 사용할 것 같다.

 

2. 사람들이 유용한 정보를 수집할 수 있는 비교적 새로운 방법에는 어떤 것들이 있나요?

 

사람들이 유용한 정보를 수집할 수 있는 비교적 새로운 방법으로 메신저 앱이 될 수 있다고 생각한다. 전에는 단순한 메신저 앱이었지만 다양한 방식으로 진화하고 있고 그 자체로 소셜 미디어 플랫폼이 되고 있다. 이제는 몇몇 포스팅 서비스와 부가 기능을 함께 제공한다.

 

3. 새로운 소셜 미디어 앱에 대한 아이디어를 브레인스토밍하세요. 다른 것과 어떻게 다를까요?

 

요즘 메타버스 서비스가 유행하고 있기 때문에 언젠가 새로운 소셜 미디어 앱이 MMORPG(Massivally Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) 온라인 게임과 비슷해질 것으로 예상한다. 그 앱은 확실히 예전의 다른 플랫폼들과는 다를 것이다. 왜냐하면 그 안에서 각자 자신의 아바타를 가지고 채팅, 포스팅 기능, 음성 채팅, 그리고 플랫폼의 모든 서비스를 동시에 사용하며 사람들과 소통할 수 있기 때문이다.
