I felt my heart skip last week when I got an email about a job I really wanted, but it turned out I didn’t get it.

지난주에 정말 원하던 일자리 결과 이메일을 받았는데 떨어졌다는 걸 보고 심장이 두근거렸습니다.

The last time your heart skipped?

 

The last time my heart skipped a beat was probably just last week.

I had been waiting for an important email that could have a big impact on my future, and when I finally saw the notification pop up on my screen, I felt a sudden rush of emotion.

It was from the company where I had recently done an interview, and the subject line alone made me freeze for a moment.

My heart definitely skipped a few beats as I opened the message with both hope and anxiety.

 

I had put a lot of effort into preparing for that interview because I really wanted the position.

It was a role that matched my skills and career goals, and I imagined how it could be the next big step in my professional journey.

So naturally, the wait for the result made me feel quite nervous.

I was hoping for good news, but I also tried to stay realistic and prepare myself for any outcome.

 

When I read the content of the email, I felt a mix of disappointment and acceptance.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the job, but I reminded myself that it was still a valuable experience.

I learned a lot through the interview process, including how to present myself better and how to answer tough questions more effectively.

Even though the result wasn’t what I hoped for, I believe it helped me grow and will make me stronger for the next opportunity.
