How to not be so irritable?
어떻게 하면 짜증을 덜 낼 수 있을까요?
I try to sleep well, breathe deeply, and pause before reacting to avoid being irritable.
짜증을 줄이기 위해 저는 충분히 자고, 깊게 숨 쉬고, 반응하기 전에 잠시 멈추려고 노력합니다.

How to not be so irritable?
I’ve learned that being tired, stressed, or overwhelmed can make me much more sensitive to little things.
So, the first thing I try to do is take care of my basic needs, especially sleep.
When I get enough sleep, I notice that I’m more patient and less emotional throughout the day.
It’s a small habit, but it really makes a big difference.
When I do feel irritated, I try not to react right away.
Instead, I pause, take a few deep breaths, and give myself a short moment to cool down.
Just a few seconds of silence can help me think more clearly and stop myself from saying something I might regret.
It’s not always easy, but I’m getting better at catching myself before I react.
Sometimes, when the feeling is stronger or more persistent, I try to write things down.
I might open my notebook or phone and just jot down what I’m feeling and why.
Writing helps me process my emotions and see the situation more clearly.
It also allows me to step outside of my emotions and look at things from a third-person perspective.
When I read what I’ve written, I often realize the situation isn’t as bad as it felt at the moment.
Another thing that helps is asking myself questions like, “Will this still bother me tomorrow?” or “Is this worth my energy?”
Most of the time, the answer is no, and that helps me let go more easily.
I also try to remind myself that other people might be going through things I don’t know about, and being patient with them is also a way of being kind to myself.
So, to avoid being too irritable, I focus on good sleep, mindful breathing, writing things down, and trying to see things from a wider perspective.
It doesn’t make me perfect, but it helps me stay more balanced and calm even on difficult days.
