What is your favorite food?
가장 좋아하는 음식이 무엇인가요?

I love many types of food, but right now, my favorites are malatang, salmon sashimi, and smoky barbecue.

저는 다양한 종류의 음식을 좋아하지만 현재 제가 가장 좋아하는 음식은 마라탕, 연어회, 숯불 바베큐입니다.

What is your favorite food?

 

It’s really hard for me to pick just one favorite food because I enjoy so many different types.

Lately, though, I’ve been loving Chinese food, especially malatang.

The rich, spicy broth packed with vegetables, noodles, and meats makes it so satisfying.

There’s one place I go to that adds tendons, or Dogani in Korean, as a topping, and I can’t get enough of it.

The tendons have a soft, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture that goes perfectly with the spicy, hearty soup.

It’s warm, comforting, and full of flavor, which makes it my current favorite.

 

Seafood is another type of food that I really love.

Salmon is at the top of my list.

I enjoy it smoked, grilled, or as sashimi.

Any kind of sashimi, actually, is something I look forward to eating.

There’s something special about the fresh, delicate texture and the clean taste of raw fish.

 

I also really enjoy barbecue.

It doesn’t matter if it’s Korean BBQ with marinated meats or a simple steak cooked over a grill.

The smoky, charred flavor that comes from grilling is one of the best tastes for me.

Recently, I tried charcoal-grilled intestine skewers, and I was surprised at how much I loved them.

The charcoal flavor adds a smoky depth, and the crispy yet chewy texture makes it so enjoyable.

 

Overall, I like hearty meals that are rich and satisfying.

Whether it’s a hot bowl of malatang, fresh sashimi, or smoky barbecue, food brings me comfort and joy.

Each type of food has its own way of making me happy, and that’s why it’s so hard to pick just one favorite.

But if I had to choose right now, I’d say malatang with tendons is at the top, followed by salmon sashimi and any barbecue with a smoky, charcoal flavor.
