Who are you? Please describe yourself.

 

I'm Jessica, often referred to as Jess, a Korean migrant residing in the beautiful city of Brisbane, Australia.

While I prefer not to disclose all my personal details online, I'm happy to share some general information about myself.

 

Born and raised in South Korea, primarily in Suwon, I spent approximately 10 years living in Seoul.

As a city girl, I'm accustomed to the conveniences of urban life.

 

In 2018, my life took a significant turn when I decided to relocate to Brisbane.

This decision was influenced by a serendipitous encounter with my partner, Isaac.

Currently, we reside in a cozy apartment unit conveniently situated near the CBD, affording us easy access to the city's amenities and attractions.

 

Prior to moving to Australia, I mostly worked in the IT industry, but upon arrival, I transitioned to become a nail technician.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I pivoted to hairdressing in 2020 and have been in the profession for over four years now.

Despite currently being on a break due to health reasons, I'm committed to opening my own salon soon, possibly by next year, to contribute to the local community through my craft.

 

Recently, I've been focusing my energy on building an online business and prioritizing my health recovery journey.

I'm engaged in a drop shipping project, taking each step methodically.

Just the other day, I received my very first order.

This period of introspection has allowed me to emphasize self-care and explore alternative avenues for personal and professional development.

 

Outside of work, I find solace and rejuvenation in activities such as swimming and tending to my thriving indoor garden.

The morning swim not only invigorates my body but also sets a positive tone for the day ahead.

Similarly, caring for my plants brings me a sense of fulfillment and a connection to nature.

 

Furthermore, I am dedicated to refining my English language skills to seamlessly integrate into Australian society and enhance my career prospects.
