028_Disruptions In Airline Travel | November 3, 2021

 

1. Summary of this story :

 

First topic, disruptions in airlines in the United States. Demand is high and ticket prices are higher but a major reason why there are fewer flights is because airlines have staffing problems, not enough pilots and flight attendants. Also, passengers disputing masks wear and American workers avoiding a COVID vaccine while the government is requiring it are accelerating this problem.

Another issue about this situation is weather. American Airlines cancelled hundreds of thousands of flights due to weather issues. It also led to a chain reaction of cancellations leaving planes and crews out of position that left thousands of people stranded in long lines in airports across the country.

I wanted to summarize all the topics simply but this became a too long scroll already so I won't.

out of learning scope, there were more, China's extreme COVID restrictions, the aurora borealis in 10 second trivia, geomagnetic storm of electrons and our rapper Carl's super fast rap about the northern lights.

 

첫 번째 주제는 미국 항공사의 운항 중단이다. 수요는 많고 항공권 가격은 더 높지만 항공편이 적은 주원인은 항공사들이 조종사와 승무원이 부족한 인력난을 겪고 있기 때문이다. 또한, 마스크 착용을 거부하는 승객들, 정부가 요구하는 반면 COVID 백신을 피하는 미국인 근로자들은 이 문제를 가속화하고 있다.

이 상황에 대한 또 다른 문제는 날씨다. 아메리칸 항공은 기상 문제로 수백 수천의 항공편을 취소했다. 이로 인해 항공기와 승무원들이 자리를 잃게 되는 연쇄적인 결항으로 수천명의 사람들이 전국 공항에서 긴 줄을 서게 되었다.

전체 주제를 간단하게 정리하고 싶었는데 이미 너무 긴 스크롤이 되어버려서 안 할 생각이다.

학습 범위 밖에서는 중국의 극단적인 COVID 제한, 10초 트리비아의 오로라 보레알리, 전자의 지자기 폭풍, 그리고 우리의 랩퍼 칼의 북극광에 대한 초고속 랩 등 더 많은 것들이 있었다.

 

2. What I think will happen next with this story :

 

All of this is going on as the holidays approach and airline travel is expected to increase in America. So more cancelled flights may be on the horizon.

I don't want to talk bad things about China anymore even while the country is constantly mentioned with  a lot of doubtful situations.

 

이 모든 것은 연휴가 다가오고 미국의 항공 여행이 증가할 것으로 예상됨에 따라 계속되고 있는 상황이다.. 그래서 더 많은 결항 항공편이 곧 있을 수도 있다.

중국이 자꾸 미심쩍은 상황들로 꾸준하게 거론되는데 더 이상은 나쁜 얘기를 하고 싶지 않다.
